Meet Mandy.

Mandy and I met about a year ago and soon after they announced that her and her husband Ryan were adding to their sweet family. I jumped at the opportunity to make sure she remembered this amazing part of her life. Stay tuned in the next few days to meet baby Kasen. He is absolutely gorgeous, just like his mommy.

Friends

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to help out a friend :) See, she has this blog and its all about fashion. Well,  Susi had this idea and together with Elya and Jenni , we did a closet raid for two of our mutual friends. We spent all afternoon, trying on different outfits, taking pictures, and recreating new and unique outfits from things they already owned.

It was so much fun! and such a great idea! Here's just a few of the highlights. Today's subject: Michelle!

He's my 6 month old son and here are just a few of the photos I took of him. He's my best subject. :) Couldn't have asked for a better one! Enjoy!

Meet Moses and April

I met April two and a half years ago at my first job after graduate school. Since then we've parted ways, but when I heard April was getting married (:)!) I jumped at the opportunity to immortalize their feelings for each other and she was sweet enough to be my photo prop. Have you met two more beautiful people? They make taking pretty pictures easy!

The Beginning

Seems I've joined the dark side... and started a blog.  I don't have many interesting things to say, so I thought I'd show you interesting things in the form of photos that I've taken.

I'm just beginning to play around with my camera, so I suppose you could describe me as a fauxtographer :) And I'm ok with that! Because this is going to chronicle my journey into the world of photography, how I progress, skills that I'm working on, and things I learn along the way.

I love taking pictures of people.  Capturing a smile, a look, a gesture. These are the things the blog will focus on.
